India Hits Highest Temperature at 50 Degrees- IMD Warns 5 States for Sever Heatwave

Several Indian regions are expected to experience severe heatwaves in the next 5 days as per IMD’s report. The northwest plains are on alert for severe heatwaves, followed by the Western Himalayan area, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. Areas of Rajasthan, and Gujrat are also experiencing similar conditions.

Some isolated areas in Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and East Madhya Pradesh have also reported warm nighttime temperatures. At 50.0°C on Saturday, Phalodi in West Rajasthan registered the nation’s greatest maximum temperature.

Furthermore, no significant change is expected in the next 3 days in the regions of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, which would be followed by a decrease of 2°C. Maharashtra and Gujrat will experience no change within 24 hours, after which there will be a temperature decrease of 2-3°C.

However, East Indian parts are expected a drop of maximum temperature by 4-5°C in the next 24 hours, after which gradual rise by 2-4°C in the next 2 days. In the northern east part of the country, there will be a drop of 6-8°C in the next 2 days.
